Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum passes away
The Court of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has mourned the late Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who passed away on the morning of Monday, 21 September 2026.
The Court declared a ten-day period of official mourning in the Emirate of Dubai, with flags flown at half-mast, effective today.
